Plodder the Donkey
Plodder is slow and – well – plodding. A tad on the heavy side he can be a bit of a klutz – even when he’s doing the donkey work. Sometimes he finds it hard to do what the others do – like exercise and sports. Even though he knows deep down they’ll do him a power of good. But the other Glugs are usually happy to encourage him and help him out, (although they might have a little giggle first, which they later regret). He’s also Nabbit’s partner in mischief and is easily led. But Plodder has an amazing memory: he has total recall of every recipe in Snappy Glug’s Cook Book. Maybe because he loves his grub so much. Plodder is a walking encyclopaedia on growing, fertilising, harvesting and storing good food – even if he’d rather talk about it than do it!
